I teach two different math classes; MS Accel – Accelerated 7th grade math during periods 2,3,5 and 6 and Integrated Math period 4.
Homework Help
Every Wednesday after school, I will be there to help students who have questions about math. This is also a good time to make up missing tests or quizzes. The time will be from the end of school until 4:15.
Supplies Needed:
- composition notebook
- scientific calculator
- pencils- all math work is to be done in pencil
- graph paper
- 1 box of Kleenex
- Red (or any color) pen for correcting papers
Classroom Expectations
Respect and Responsibility
Respect and responsibility are the two guiding principles in my classroom.
Respect – Be respectful of your school, your classmates, and yourself.
- Respect for self- Do your best and positively participate in all classroom activities.
- Respect for others- Honor the feelings, opinions, personal space, property, and work of others. Stay on task- do not disturb or distract classmates.
- Respect for school- Raise your hand to speak, enter and exit the room quietly, complete assignments on time, and actively listen when the teacher is speaking.
Responsibility – Be responsible for your learning and your behavior.
- It is your responsibility to come to class prepared to learn – every day bring your math book, binder, calculator, and pencil.
- Come to class with your homework neatly done and completed to the best of your ability.
- Ask for help when you need it – take advantage of the afterschool homework help class.
- You are responsible for finding out what assignments were missed and making them up if absent.
